Clams Rhenish Style
6 1/2 pounds Clams
3 cloves of Garlic
1 cup White Wine (dry)
2 cups Fish Stock
1. Rinse the clams under cold water. Broken and already pre opened clams through out.
2. Carrots, onions, leek and garlic need to be peeled and cut into rough pieces.
3. Pre heat oil in a big pot and fry all the vegetables with the clams in it. Deglaze with white wine and add the fish stock.
4. Now let everything cook for about 7-8 min. and serve the clams in a bowl. The best it will taste if you serve with the clams some pumpernickel with butter.
