Bee-Sting-Cake

Today is my boyfriends birthday and as you all know I do not have an oven. So I created this german Bee-Sting-Cake without baking.

You need:
ca. 20 Shortbread Biscuits
100g / 1/2 cup Butter
2 Pkg Pudding Mix
2-3 leaf sheets gelantin
500ml / 2 cups cold Milk
50g / 1/2 cup Almonds
1 Tsp Honey
Springform pan

And that's how you do it:

1. Fill the biscuits in a smal plastic bag und and shred them until it has the consistency of crunchy flour.

2. While doing this let the butter melt.

3. When the biscuits and butter are ready mix them up and put them on the bottom of your baking pan. Press it strongly into the pan.

4. Now you can prepare the pudding mix as it is said on the directions. I need 500ml / 2 cups of cold Milk and had to mix it with a mixer or a kitchen machine for about 2 mins. After that put the gelantin that was prepared like the directions say into the pudding. The gelantin makes it a little more stiff in the end.

5. Put the pudding over the biscuit bottom.

6. Now pre heat a pan and put the almonds in it. When the almonds turn gold/brownish put the honey in the pan, mix it and let the honey melt a little bit.

7. Put the almonds on top of the pudding and spread them out.

8. Leave the cake for about two to three hours in the frigde.
