Tortilla Chips

You need for the dough:

125g / 2/3 cup Cornmeal
100g / 2/3 cup Flour
25g / 1/8 cup Butter
150ml / 1/2 cup Milk

For the Seasoning:

2 Tsp Sugar
1 1/2 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Curry Powder
1 Tsp Paprika
1 Tsp Chili Powder
1 Tsp Pepper

And that's how you do it:

1. Heat up the Milk.

2. Mix flour, cornmeal and butter together and add the preheated Milk.

3. Now prepare the seasoning and add it also to the dough.

4. Knead the dough to a homogenous dough.

5. Preheat the oven to 220° Celsius / 430° Fahrenheit

6. Spread the dough out and make it really thin. If you want them to be really, really thin use a pasta machine.

7. Now cut triangles into the dough
8. Put little holes in the triangles with a fork. That way there will not be any bubbles in the chips afterwards.
9. Put them in the oven for about 5-10 Minutes. You have to decide yourself when they are done. It depends on how thick they are. So never leave the Kitchen! ;-)

10. If you want to spice them a little bit up, make the same amount of seasoning again. Fill the baked chips in a bowl, add seasoning and mix it up.
